Power Supply Active Cooling – compact power supply for LED sheets
The Power Supply Active Cooling is the right power supply for small and medium-sized lighting installations with Slate-Lite LED sheets. The compact power supply unit reliably supplies the LED surfaces with power and is ideal for backlit stone surfaces, light panels, furniture, counters and decorative wall solutions.
With an output of 450 W, up to 10 CCT LED Flex Sheets or up to 9 RGBW LED Sheets can be operated, depending on the LED sheet. This makes it possible to plan even larger illuminated surfaces for Slate-Lite Translucent cleanly and equip them with a stable power supply.
Thanks to active cooling with an integrated fan, the power supply remains thermally stable even during longer periods of use. Please note: Due to the fan, the Power Supply Active Cooling does not operate silently. For particularly noise-sensitive areas, we recommend a correspondingly quiet or passive alternative.
An appropriate controller is also required to operate the LED sheets. Please always coordinate the power supply, controller and LED sheet according to the specific installation.
The LED Sheets have been specially developed for the uniform backlighting of translucent surfaces and are ideal for use with Slate-Lite Translucent. The genuine stone veneer allows light to shine through the natural stone surface, making structures, colours, and veining appear especially vibrant.
This creates backlit stone walls, light panels, counters, furniture, or decorative back walls with a high-quality natural stone effect. Depending on the desired lighting mood, you can choose between CCT light for adjustable white tones or RGBW light for coloured accents with additional white light.
The LED Sheets are ultra-flat, flexible, and self-adhesive on the back. This makes them easy to position on suitable substrates and also suitable for individual shapes or gentle curves. Multiple LED Sheets can be combined for larger surfaces.
The format of 490 x 245 mm (approx. 19 5/16" x 9 5/8") makes it easier to plan both small and larger illuminated areas. If required, the sheets can be cut to size, allowing the lighting to be adapted to wall surfaces, furniture, shopfitting elements, or custom shapes.
To operate the LED Sheets, you need the appropriate accessories. Depending on the system, these include a suitable power supply and the matching controller. Depending on the version, control is conveniently handled by remote control or Bluetooth app.
When planning, please make sure to select accessories and LED Sheets that match the chosen lighting option: CCT accessories for adjustable white tones or RGBW accessories for coloured lighting moods with additional white light. The wiring diagram and data sheet provided with the respective accessory products help with the correct configuration and connection of the components.
Illuminated natural stone is created by combining modern LED surface lighting with translucent natural stone veneer. The LED Sheet is placed behind the Slate-Lite Translucent stone veneer and provides uniform illumination across the surface.
As the stone surface is 100% natural, every surface remains unique. At the same time, the backlighting highlights the depth, structure, and colour effect of the stone particularly clearly.
The result is not a stone imitation and not a stone-look surface, but genuine natural stone with an integrated lighting effect.
